BRS Industrial Works and Supply Corp. was incorporated in October 2023, but the capability behind it starts in 2001 on the refilling floor of Air Liquide Philippines.

Founder background
Mr. Adonis D. Sardeña — eleven years in industrial and electronic specialty gases before founding BRS.
Air Liquide Philippines, 2001–2012
Mr. Adonis D. Sardeña is a former employee of Air Liquide Philippines Inc., from 28 September 2001 to 3 January 2012. He started his career at ALPI as refilling staff for argon, carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen, Ar/CO₂ and H₂/Ar mixes, liquid argon, liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen. He conducted inspection of bundled cylinders — hydrotest date, water capacity, working pressure, valve condition and physical appearance — to ensure safety before refilling.
Gas mixing and analyser calibration
Just over a year in, he moved on to special mixing of gases: carbon dioxide (CO₂) balance argon (Ar), hydrogen (H₂) balance argon, and H₂ balance nitrogen (N₂). He also performed calibration of gas analysers including Teledyne oxygen, Shaw moisture, Platinum H₂, ASCO CO₂ and Platinum IR100 hydrocarbon instruments.
Because of that expertise, he was considered one of the pioneers of ESG (Electronic Special Gases) Tech at SPML — SunPower Philippines Manufacturing Ltd. — in 2004.
Electronic specialty gases
He handled electronic specialty gases such as silane (SiH₄), ammonia (NH₃), phosphine (PH₃), diborane (B₂H₆), hydrogen (H₂), oxygen (O₂), nitrogen (N₂), argon (Ar) and nitrous oxide (N₂O) — including the bulk gases held in VIE (vacuum insulated evaporator) systems such as O₂, N₂ and Ar.
Emergency response and medical gases
As a member of the emergency response team, he responded to gas leak situations and emergency crises. The company also trusted him in the medical industry with the refilling of liquid helium for MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) systems — work BRS still carries out today for hospitals.
